The Facilities and Asset Management department would like to inform the 51³ÉÈ˸£ÀûÍø community of two upcoming construction projects scheduled to take place from May through August.

Please review the details below, including expected impacts to campus areas.

Arts E Railing Replacement Project
Location: Arts E Building – 2nd and 3rd Floors
Scope of Work: Replacement of railings on the 2nd and 3rd floors in the Arts E building by the washrooms and elevator (corridors 2E21 and 3E27).
Expected Impacts:

• Noise related to construction activities
• Intermittent impact to elevator access

DAWB Generator Exhaust Upgrade Project
Location: Exterior East Side of DAWB Building – Adjacent to FNCC Loading Dock
Scope of Work: Replacement of exterior generator exhaust venting pipes. The venting will be routed over the lower roof of the FNCC loading dock and adjacent East side of the DAWB building.
Expected Impacts:

• Intermittent disruption to loading activities in front of the FNCC loading dock
• Scaffolding installed above the lower roof area of DAWB building (East side, adjacent to FNCC loading dock)
• Outdoor construction noise above the loading dock area
